**Please note this is a pilot clinic and you will receive partial credit for attending this clinic. This is not the complete course. Course held at Percy Page Bldg 11759 Groat Rd Rm#8-3rd Flr. Edmonton

Please note all coaches will register with the GELC office, you may withdraw one week prior to the clinic.
To register for any clinic, email edmlax@telus.net or call 466-0981. Please provide your name, phone number and club who you are affiliated with. The Wizards club will reimburse you if coach a team in the 2006 season.

The cost of this year's clinic is $50 per person and must be paid upon registration. (This can be paid by cash or by cheque made out to "The Alberta Lacrosse Referees Association"). Attendance at one of the Alberta clinics this year is mandatory to referee lacrosse in Alberta in 2006.

Registration for the clinic will be on March 1 from 6:30 - 9:00 PM at St. Brendan School and is mandatory.

We will also have the following available for purchase:

Acme Thunder Whistle $15

We intend to start promptly at the times specified, so please arrive early.

Due to damage that was caused to the gym last year, please DO NOT bring lacrosse balls, sticks, etc.

Due to the payment issues that have arisen over the past two seasons, the ALRA has bought a web-based assigning and payment system (Assign-By-Web) that will solve these problems. It will also eliminate the need for pay sheets that have been used in the past. We at the ALRA have received a raise for the upcoming season and will be paid the following amounts per game per referee:

MiniTyke/Tyke/Novice $17
PeeWee $20
Bantam $25
Midget $33
Junior B/ $55
JuniorA/Senior $60

We have also received a raise in our meal and mileage rates.

National Coaching Certification Program

The Canadian Lacrosse Association requires each team in Field and Box Lacrosse to have at least one coach registered on the team who has been fully certified in the Level 1 Technical National Coaching Certification in order for the team to be eligible to play during the Regular Season, Playoffs, and Provincials in the GELC.
